I just found out on amazon that there'll be a DT calender for 2009 out. So I was wondering if that's really true and if somebody already has the pictures of it? I really want to know what it looks like.

Woo Hoo! My first harvest!

For anyone who live in the Boston area, the Brattle Theater is going to have three nights of Doctor Who goodness on their movie screen, for free!

Doctor Who on the Big Screen!
Hooked On Who! at 10:00 pm

Inspired by the success of the newest incarnation of the legendary BBC sci-fi show DOCTOR WHO, the Brattle is offering up a selection of some of our favorite WHO stories on the big screen. For the uninitiated, DOCTOR WHO is the longest running sci-fi TV show on the planet, since 1963 it has been delighting audiences with a blend of campy effects, excellent scripts, and charismatic characters – not the least of which being The Doctor himself, a ‘timelord’ who travels through time and space in a blue police telephone box protecting the universe from all kinds of dangers. For this celebration we will be featuring two full storylines from the most well known Doctor, Tom Baker, plus a selection of episodes from the recent resurrection of the show starring Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant.

Two weeks ago, a coworker showed me a picture.



“I want to rent one of these,” she told me.

“Looks like fun,” I replied. “Don’t suppose you’re planning to set it up in the office – we could write it of as a team building exercise.”

She shook her head, “I just wish I knew what they were called.”

“Bouncy Castle. They’re called bouncy castles.”

She looks at me, surprised. “How did you know that? No one else knew.”

I turn beat red. “When Cassandra possesses Rose in Doctor Who, that’s what she calls her. She said it was like living in a bouncy castle.”

“What?”

“Errrr. Never mind how I know.”

DVBS went so great this week, it was just a really blessed time. I had an average of 31 kids each day, and while they were sometimes difficult, I loved them all so much. At the end of it all, they came over and hugged me and kept asking if I could be their teacher next year, and saying I was the best teacher they've had. Aww squee. But now I am so tired. Praise God for an awesome time. One girl in another group accepted Christ into her heart on the second day, that was just awesome.

Work - ick. I hate closing. Its so long and boring. I cant wait to go back to days...

I got my letter from Nipissing that I'll be teaching with the Renfrew County District School Board and my first block will be at the elementary school on the Petawawa army base, for grades 7/8. Yay :) I'll be living with my grandparents who are in Petawawa. Funny thing is thats where my mom went to school for kindergarten and grade 1.

Not ready to leave yet - mostly not ready to leave Alex :(

But wedding planning will be happening soon, which is so exciting!

I would like to congratulate because_of_you on her engagement this week :) Yay!

I'm off to work now, and then I'll be out with Alex to see Batman!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!

A while ago, I did a drawing of the Doctor and Donna for an art project, so I'll share it with you. :)
